Around 40 mosque congregants of the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque of Kampong Sungai Akar volunteered and tested negative for COVID-19 during the serology survey yesterday.
Haji Awang Hasbollah bin Haji Awang Damit, one of the participants who volunteered in the serology survey, expressed his gratitude to the medical staff of the Ministry of Health (MoH) who have worked hard in conducting the survey in Brunei Darussalam.
“I am confident that tests and examinations are carried out thoroughly and with a sense of responsibility in fulfilling the amanah to see Brunei free from COVID-19,” he said.
The survey is a continuation of the previous nationwide survey conducted at selected health centres where it aimed to expand the surveillance on community spread. This is also to help the MoH to establish the baseline for population immunity to this infection.
