206 samples tested for SARS-CoV-2 in 24 hours

Brunei Darussalam marked its third consecutive day of no new COVID-19 cases yesterday, keeping the national tally at 143 confirmed cases. This includes one active case at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong District.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has taken 206 samples for SARS-CoV-2 testing over the last 24 hours, with a total of 49,159 tests conducted since January. Meanwhile, 635 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after returning from abroad, while 4,567 have completed their mandatory self-isolation since March 2020.
