The Operation ‘B’ Branch of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) held a ceremony to welcome its new commanding officer at the SPARK Fire Station in Sungai Liang last Saturday.
The event saw outgoing Commanding Officer Superintendent Muhd Shahreeni bin Haji Mohd Yussof receiving an honorary salute from 24 firefighters, led by Superintendent Ajak bin Haji Jais, followed by the signing over of duties to new Commanding Officer Senior Superintendent Noor Aflan bin Kachi.
The outgoing commanding officer also received a plaque from Acting Assistant Superintendent Abdul Wahid bin Haji Abdullah.
The ceremony concluded with a salute to welcome Senior Superintendent Noor Aflan to the FRD branch and the recitation of Doa Selamat by Imam of Sungai Liang Mosque Mohd Zulhilmi bin Mohd Jefri.
