Victims of the fire accident at RPN Kampong Tanah Jambu on August 29 received financial assistance from the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin handed over the assistance from the allocation to the Community Development Department (JAPEM) of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
Pengiran Johari bin Pengiran Matasan\Pengiran Hassan received the financial assistance as the head of the family.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Community) at the MCYS Saidah binti Haji Wahid @ Burut and officers from JAPEM were also present.
