During the competition, participants rhythmically recited verses of the Al-Quran in front of a panel of respected judges, and the winners were announced near the end of the event.

For the male category, Mohd Amirul Husaini bin Moksin of Sayyidina Hasan Secondary

School came in second place, followed by Masrur Fuad bin Haji Asmat from the Sports School in third.

Nurul Hafizah binti Sani of Rimba Secondary School came in second place for the female category, while Nur Izzati Najihah binti Roslan from the Raja Isteri Girls High School (STPRI) came in third.

The winners were presented with their trophies and prizes by the guest of honour.

Among the competition’s objectives were to encourage students to recite the Al-Quran so that they will learn and appreciate the holy book in their daily lives as well as to instil a sense of love for the Al-Quran.

The event also served as a platform to prepare and train the young participants to develop their talents in reciting the Al-Quran to a higher level as well as to inculcate a spirit of competitiveness among the students and foster ties between them.
