The Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital held a blood donation campaign in conjunction with the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of changing the name of Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan, at the department’s building yesterday.
The campaign, one of the community programmes organised to mark the occasion, allowed the public to contribute to the community.
It also helped in increasing the Blood Donation Centre’s blood stock.
Acting Chairman of Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Board Aminuddin bin Haji Buntar participated in the campaign. Thirty-two people donated blood for this year’s campaign.
