A three-day roadshow held in conjunction with the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Awareness Campaign kicked off at Hua Ho Manggis Mall on Friday.
A large number of people took the opportunity to visit the participating booths lo learn more about NCD-related health issues.
Organised by the Ministry of Health (MoH) through its Health Promotion Centre (HPC) in collaboration with Hua Ho Manggis Mall, the roadshow runs until today.
A host of activities are being held to raise awareness on NCDs such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, dementia, cancer and its risk factors.
They include a health exhibition, healthy grocery tour (educational tour), Mixed Martial Art demo, breast screening and consultations with health professionals. There is also a children’s colouring competition and mental health poster designing competition today.
HPC strategic partners Demensia Brunei, Renegade Fitness Centre and RespectMe are also participating in the roadshow.
