The national event for the Maulidur Rasul 1442 Hijrah will be held tomorrow at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
A rehearsal took place yesterday witnessed by Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar and Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, in his capacity as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Major Islamic Events Celebration for 1442 Hijrah.
Chief Syari’e Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohammed Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim in his capacity as Chairman of the Working Committee of the National Celebration of Maulidur Rasul 1442 Hijrah were also present.
This year’s event is themed ‘Membangun Dengan Akhlak Nabi Muhammad SAW’.
