A total of 11 participants of a Basic Guidance Scheme for Muslim converts received their certificates following the conclusion of the 14-day course at a closing ceremony at the Islamic Da’wah Centre in Kampong Pulaie yesterday.

Organised by the Tarbiyah Muallaf Unit Department of the Islamic Da’wah Centre, the course participants comprising those who recently concluded the basic guidance on the introduction of Islam was participated by Muslim converts of different backgrounds and races.

Head of the Muallaf Development Division of the Islamic Da’wah Centre presented the certificates and prizes to participants who shone throughout the duration of the course.

According to the Islamic Da’wah Centre, the scheme aims to enhance the basic understanding of Islamic teachings, as well as giving moral and spiritual support to
new converts.

“The course also aims to guide them in practising Islamic teachings in their daily lives and, allowing them to indirectly become examples as propagators of Islam to non-Muslims and other converts.”

The scheme also hopes to strengthen the Aqidah and allow them to interact with the teaching staff and untangle their doubts.
