Brunei Darussalam recorded one new recovery of COVID-19 case yesterday, leaving only one remaining case still receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre.
The sultanate also marked the seventh day of no new COVID-19 case and 176th day of no local transmissions in the country, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 148. The latest update on the COVID-19 situation was released by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily statement yesterday.
The MoH has taken 750 samples for SARS-CoV-2 virus testing over the past 24 hours, totalling 68,736 tests conducted since January 2020.
A total of 297 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after returning from abroad, while 7,483 have completed their mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres since March 2020.
In its breakdown, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed there had been 114 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 28 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
