Guardian launches online platform

Guardian launched its online platform under the Wecare App at The Rizqun International Hotel, in Gadong yesterday.

Deputy Minister of Energy and Chairman of Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw officiated.

Acting Chief Executive of AITI Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar was also present.

The event began with welcoming remarks by Soren Lauridsen and Tae Hoon Kim, followed by an opening speech by Head of Business Guardian Brunei Jennifer Yang.

Yang said Guardian aims to pioneer in achieving an active commerce activity contributing to the 2025 Digital Company Master Plan and will strive to mould Brunei as a Smart Nation.

In conjunction with the launching, Guardian is offering promotions and benefits to Wecare App’s new members. New members will receive 200 points to redeem free items and 10 more points for every dollar online purchase.

Members who invite a new registrant will also received 20 points and additional five per cent reward point redemption from the new registrant who made their first purchase. The first 200 online customers will get a free delivery coupon on their first purchase, while the first 500 will be entitled to redeem a BND5 e-voucher coupon on their first purchase.

The first 2,000 customers will be entitled to one entry to Guardian’s lucky draw and stand a chance to win amazing prizes.
