Two hundred and ten recruits concluded their basic military training (BMT) with a passing out parade at Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) in Penanjong Garrison yesterday.
Permanent Secretary (Municipal and District) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Salminan bin Haji Burut was the guest of honour who presented awards to instructors and recruits.
Among the recipients were Sergeant Mahdini bin Osli for Best Platoon Sergeant; Corporal Mohd Waridi bin Zainal Abidin for Best Male Instructor; Recruit (U) Syukurizam bin Hailulizam for Best Overall Recruit; Recruit Muhd Hazrul Hazwan bin Asnan for Best in Small Arms; Recruit Mohd Ihsanudin bin Haji Abdul Hakim for Best in Physical Training; and Recruit Abdul Azim Syafi’i bin Dullah for Best Military Skills.
Commander of the RBAF Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, services commanders, joint force commander, directors, commandants, senior officers, officers, personnel of the RBAF as well as families of the recruits were also present.
