Some 135 pints of blood were collected during the Pizza Hut & Dairy Queen Brunei’s blood donation campaign, part of Pizza Hut’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), held recently at The Airport Mall, Berakas.
The campaign, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, saw 135 donors out of 195 people who registered at the event.
Donors each received two slices of pizzas, one DQ ice cream and a bottle of Vitamin Water.
The recent campaign was the second of its kind held by Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen. Last year’s event saw the collection of 117 pints of blood.
