A Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil were held at the Royal Mausoleum for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday, in conjunction with the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) 10th Convocation Ceremony.
KUPU SB Acting Deputy Ra’es Dr Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha, main officers, lecturers, staff and soon-to-be graduates attended.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin led by Haji Nasrul Fakhri bin Haji Yahya, followed by the Tahlil led by KUPU SB Core Knowledge Centre academic staff Haji Md Noor bin Haji Ibrahim.
The convocation will see 251 graduating at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre in Berakas tomorrow.
