The Malay Technology Museum is holding a Diversity Art Exhibition featuring 198 paintings from 81 artists until April 28.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin officiated the exhibition themed ‘International Museum Day 2020 – Museum and Equality: Diversity and Inclusion’.
Among the exhibits for sale are artworks by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hamlatul Arsy Mulia Bulqiah.
Twenty retired Museums Department officers and staff were feted while some were awarded for their exemplary work yesterday.
The minister presented the certificates in the ceremony held in conjunction with International Museum Day and International Archives Day.
The Malay Technology Museum is open to the public from Saturday and Sunday, Tuesday to Thursday, from 9am-2pm.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Quddus bin Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz along senior officials from Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and artists were also present.
