Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah took part in the Alpha Challenge 2020 at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park yesterday.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah also participated.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin officiated the event.
Organised by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, the event was held in conjunction with Brunei December Festival 2020 with support from the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.
The Alpha Challenge, which carried the theme ‘Legend of the Hunter’ this year, is known as the leading obstacle course in the country.
This year’s edition commenced from December 1 to 15 following the first series of the Legend of the Hunters which was a virtual hiking challenge – the Hill Hunters.
Meanwhile, the physical obstacle challenge consisted of two categories – the 5km and 10km non-competitive routes.
Both categories featured challenging leg obstacle routes for individuals in a test of mental and physical endurance.
This enabled participants a greater sense of satisfaction and accomplishment upon completing the challenge.
