Deal inked to improve home-based patient care

A contract for the Home Nursing Transportation Service Project was signed between the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Dart Logistics Sdn Bhd at Al-‘Afiah Hall of  the ministry yesterday.

Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar attended as guest of honour alongside founder of Dart Logistics Sdn Bhd Keeran bin Dato Paduka Janin.

Signing on behalf of MoH was Chief Executive Officer Special Grade Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Haji Azahari witnessed by Head of Chief Executive Officer Special Grade Roshima binti Haji Kamal.

Chief Executive Officer Zul’Amali bin Dato Paduka Haji Idris signed the deal on behalf of DART Logistics, witnessed by Chief Operating Officer Siti Nor Syaahidah binti Haji Sahron.

The project will provide safe transportation facilities for nurses to visit home-based patients by using the Dart mobile app, while supporting local employment.

The service will also increase treatment quality and management for home-based patients in hopes to improve the health of new mothers and their babies.

The one-year partnership takes effect on January 4, 2021.
