Anthony Abell College in Seria handed over 400 kilogrammes of recyclable paper materials to local company EnEvo Sdn Bhd yesterday.
The teachers collected the paper during a clean-up last year to prepare for the current academic year.
School sources hope to reach 500 kilogrammes or more this year.
The school plans to place recycling boxes in each classroom and staff room, encouraging all to recycle while raising awareness.
