The public will be able to test drive 21 Toyota models at BIBD Connects starting today until Sunday at the Toyota Mega 21 Test Drive event.

Hosted by NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, the main distributor of Toyota cars in the country, it is the largest Toyota cars test drive campaign to date. Local media were given a glimpse of the event yesterday.

NBT Managing Director Haji Ahmad Omar bin Haji Husin said, “Last year was tough for us. It was also a key milestone because 2020 was the 40th consecutive year that we were placed first in Brunei Darussalam’s automotive industry.”

He acknowledged that the achievement could not have been done without the support of the media.

The Toyota cars range from hatchback to sedan, MPV and SUV and will be available for test drive from 2pm to 6pm.

The test drive will be postponed if the weather is not ideal for safety, he added.

Twenty-one local vendors will also participate in the event, that will feature an open air movie night.

Individuals who test drive a vehicle will receive a BND5 voucher to be spent at the event and an entry to a lucky draw.

The lucky draw campaign will run for 21 weeks until June.

Those with a valid driving licence can participate in the campaign.

The public can also visit the showroom for test drives to receive an entry to a prize each week, with 21 prizes up for grabs.

Prizes include a PlayStation 5, Apple iPhone, Android TV and Nintendo Switch.
