THE 2nd edition of the Yes2Malaysia Education Experience Exhibition, featuring 19 Malaysian education institutions from West and East Malaysia, opened yesterday.
The last day of the exhibition is today from 4pm to 9pm at the Orchid Garden Hotel, Anggerek Desa.
The exhibition was organised by RexpoCentral Sdn Bhd from Malaysia and MEG Educational Services, catering to those wishing to pursue their studies in diploma and up to post-graduate level.
In an interview, Ahmad Rezal Chan, Senior Partner at RexpoCentral Sdn Bhd, said, “The demand for education in Malaysia is growing among Bruneians.
The education has a lot of value and quality, in addition to being affordable for Bruneians to pursue their post graduate and even undergraduate programmes in Malaysia”.
“MEG facilitates the early application process of Bruneian students to identify the most suitable courses for them.
“We work closely together with agencies such as the Ministry of Education, as well as banks, to see what courses meet the needs of the Bruneians,” said Rozin binti Jaafar from MEG Educational Services.
“During the application process, we assist the students in accreditation approval for their various courses.
“Sometimes we carry out counselling on finance such as living expenses, and what the students should expect in terms of budgeting for the duration of two or three years,” she added.
Free air tickets are up for grabs when visitors apply to selected participating universities during the event.
Other prizes include Samsung tablets and Apple iPhones, depending on the type of programme chosen with the selected participating institutions.
