With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, 12 police officers received promotions during a ceremony at the Mess Banquet Hall of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Headquarter in Jalan Gadong yesterday.
According to the RBPF, two officers were promoted to Senior Superintendent, one to Superintendent, two to Deputy Superintendent, and seven to Acting Deputy Superintendent.
The promotions are effective March 9. Police Commissioner Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and spouse attended the ceremony. Deputy Police Commissioner, Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohd Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid, directors, senior officers and members of families of the promoted officers were also present.
