The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) and departments under it commemorated Israk Mikraj at Setia Pahlawan Hall yesterday, coordinated by the Forestry Department.
Minister of MPRT Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong was the guest of honour. The ceremony held a special talk on ‘Prayer is the Core towards the Excellence of Ummah’ (Sembahyang Teras Kecemerlangan Umat), delivered by Director of Jawi Studies and Kitab Turath Research Centre of Religious Teachers University College Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Dr Haji Harapandi Amaq Hairani.
The event also witnessed a Dikir performance to celebrate a newly converted Muslim at the ministry.
