Seven station officers of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) were promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Fire and Rescue during a Rank Badge Presentation ceremony at the Officers’ Mess, Multipurpose Hall of the Fire and Rescue Headquarters on Friday.
FRD Acting Director Lim Hock Guan presented the rank badges to Station Officer Md Haris bin Haji Md Zaini, Station Officer Rokiah binti Haji Ibrahim, Station Officer Esmawandy @ Nur Uzma Khadijah binti Brahim/Ibrahim, Station Officer Hamzah bin Muhammad/Mohammed, Station Officer Haji Asbi bin Haji Abdullah, Station Officer Andi Kamila Waty binti Haji Abdul Karim, and Station Officer Pengiran Mohammad Ali Rahma bin Pengiran Haji Salleh.
The FRD said it always encourages staff to instil a culture of self-viability and healthy competition.
The event also served as an appreciation to those who have contributed excellent services, dedication and high discipline.
It is hoped the officers’ promotion would act as an impetus to encourage commitment, quality, productivity and effective workmanship.
Assistant directors, senior officers, officers, personnel and staff at the FRD also attended the event.
