Over 300 participants from higher education institutions, technical vocational institutions, non-profit organisations (NGOs) and invitees recently attended a forum on Brunei Vision 2035.
Organised by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) through Pejabat Wawasan Brunei in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), it was held at the Prime Minister’s Office, in conjunction with the 37th National Day celebration.
Acting Deputy Director of Pejabat Wawasan Brunei at the Prime Minister’s Office Muhammad Aziman bin Nasir, in his welcoming remarks, highlighted the theme of this year’s National Day celebration, ‘Menjayakan Wawasan Negara.’
He said achieving the aspiration of Brunei Vision 2035 is not only the responsibility of the government but also requires the involvement of all stakeholders, including the private sector, grassroots leaders, associations and everyone in the country.
Acting Senior Public Relations Officer at the Pejabat Wawasan Brunei Mustajir @ Mohd Yusre bin Haji Mabob also addressed the the gathering.
The event was a forum for the youth and Pejabat Wawasan Brunei to participate in a dialogue session and brainstorm ideas for future planning.
It was also an initiative to educate the students about Brunei Vision 2035, its journey since its launch in January 2008, and on how they can contribute towards the success through the whole-of-government and whole-of-nation approaches.
