Some 200 participants comprising penghulus, village heads, members of mukim and village consultative councils and Senior Citizen Activity Centre (PKWE) Tutong attended the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme briefing yesterday.
The briefing is an ongoing effort by the Ministry of Health to share on the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccination and information related to the vaccination programme.
Associate Specialist of Communicable Disease and Medical Superintendent at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital, Tutong Dr Hajah Riamiza Natalie binti Haji Momin and Senior Medical Officer Dr Hajah Shodeena binti Haji Mohamad facilitated.
The programme will be implemented in phases, with senior citizens aged 60 and above receiving the vaccine in the first phase.
