Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) handed over BND50,000 to five winners of the first quarterly draw of the BIBD Aspirasi 3 Reward Campaign yesterday.
Pong Pei Shyan @ Lim Pei Shyan, Faridza binti Abdullah, Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, Siti Zulailah binti Haji Abdullah and Ling Pik Foong, each won BND10,000 and were chosen from customers who had subscribed to BIBD Aspirasi 3 with a minimum holding period of 90 days.
BIBD also awarded 35 winners with BND1,000 each as part of the campaign’s third monthly draw.
Prizes of the quarterly draw was handed over by BIBD Shariah Advisory Body Member Hajah Noraini binti Haji Buntar at an event at the Tarindak D’Seni in Bandar Seri Begawan.
BIBD senior management officials were also present.
Winner Ling Pik Foong said, “I am really happy to have won BND10,000. I hope to donate the money to charity.
“The campaign not only help instil the culture of savings but also helps winners achieve their dreams”.
Currently in its third cycle, the BIBD Aspirasi programme was introduced to make the discipline of savings easier, more accessible and more convenient as subscriptions and redemptions can be made directly through the BIBD NEXGEN Wallet mobile app.
BIBD has already rewarded 400 winners from all walks of life.
