IN A bid to prevent crime, members of the Limau Manis Police Station along with those from the Kg Batong Neighbourhood Watch gathered for a joint patrol from 10pm to 12.15am on Friday.
The patrol was led by the Officer-in-Charge of Limau Manis Police Station Insp Abdul Sahrimin bin Abd Rahman, with other police officers from the station and the Brunei-Muara Police District.
The patrol covered areas in Kg Batong as well as Mukim Pengkalan Batu. The patrol also stopped by the Kuala Lurah Control Post to carry out monitoring.
During the patrol at the border post, the customs officials found a local who was suspected to be carrying sharp items and was detained and brought to the Limau Manis Police Station for further investigation.
