HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam have safely arrived in Bangkok, Thailand to attend the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit which will be held from October 9-10, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building, Thailand.
Accompanying Their Majesties were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Wakeel; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah; and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Present at the Military Air Terminal 2, Bangkok to greet Their Majesties were Atthaniti Disantha-amnarj, Member of Privy Council; General Prawit Wongsuwon, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Thailand as the representative of the Royal Thai Government; as well as senior officers of the Royal Thai Government.
Also present to greet Their Majesties were Haji Ismail bin Haji Abdul Manap, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Thailand and wife.
Their Majesties then boarded a motorcade to travel to a renowned hotel in Bangkok where Their Majesties will reside throughout the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit.
The Asia Cooperation Dialogue is an initiative that brings together 34 countries spanning from the Middle East through Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia to tackle regional and global challenges and work together towards the benefit of the people of Asia.

Their Majesties during the recitation of Doa selamat by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
Their Majesties being bade farewell at the Subang Air Base. Also seen in the photo are His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Wakeel and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah.
Earlier yesterday, Their Majesties left Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after attending the 20th Annual Leaders’ Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, and attending the get-together ceremony with citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who are currently in Malaysia.
Before leaving the hotel, a Doa Selamat was read by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
At the Subang Air Base, Their Majesties were greeted by Dato’ Sri Haji Anifah bin Haji Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and wife. Their Majesties were then ushered to the VIP Room. In the VIP Room, His Majesty and Her Majesty were presented with a pesambah of picture albums of the visit of Their Majesties to Malaysia.
Before boarding the royal aircraft, Their Majesties walked past a static guard.
Present at the Subang Air Base to bid farewell to Their Majesty were Tan Sri Noh bin Omar, Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government as the Minister-in-Attendance and wife; Datuk Ghulam Jelani bin Khanizaman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and wife; as well as senior officers from the Government of Malaysia.
Also present to bid farewell to Their Majesties were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Dato Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Awang Mohd Taha, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia and wife; as well as officers from the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Kuala Lumpur.
