THE third “Terima Kasih Cikgu” Badminton Tournament concluded with both the ladies and men’s finals at Brunei Sports School in Berakas on Wednesday.
A total of 15 men and seven ladies teams consisting of players from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Secondary and Primary Schools Clusters, Higher Education Institutes and Private Education participated.
The BSB Religious Schools-MoE Religious Teachers team emerged champions after winning three straight sets against Co-Curriculum Education Department-Sports School A in the final.
University Brunei Darussalam-University Technology Brunei took third place after they managed to win 3-1 against JPPP-JPK-Scholarship.

Co-Curriculum Education Department-Sports School were crowned champions of the ladies category after they beat Private Schools 2-1 in the final.
Cluster 5 (Secondary Schools) settled for third after they edged Cluster 1 2-1.
Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Education, presented the prizes.
