IN A big boost for Brunei Darussalam’s tourism, millions of viewers in Taiwan as well as the region will be able to see some of the Sultanate’s popular tourist destinations like the Water Village, Jerudong Park as well as the prestigious The Empire Hotel & Country Club that will be featured in a Taiwanese show to be aired on TVBS by end of May this year.
The main cast of the ‘Super Taste – Magic Brunei’, Hao Zi and Ah Xiang, along with the crew arrived yesterday evening at the Brunei International Airport.
They were greeted by local megastar Wu Chun, the Brand Ambassador of the national carrier Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) as well as officials from RB and Brunei Tourism.
The visit follows invitation from Wu Chun and is supported by RB and Brunei Tourism.
“We are really excited to be here in Brunei.
“It’s our first visit thanks to the invite from Wu Chun and support from RB and Brunei Tourism,” said Hao Zi.
During filming, Ah Xiang said, “We will be looking at the popular tourist spots and the distinct food of Brunei.”
“We wanted to show to the world the Water Village, also known as the Venice of the East, and portray Brunei as the abode of peace,” he said.
Besides the tourist destinations, the show will also feature the Bake Culture, a well-known Taiwanese franchise in Brunei as well as Wu Chun’s Fitness Zone.
The crew will stay in Brunei until April 12.
