HAJI Idzam Norhaidi bin Haji Mashud emerged as the Champion of the Sprint Ski Category, while Christopher Keasberry championed the Enduro 200HP Category during the P1 Aquax 2016’s Malaysia Round 1 recently at Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.
Haji Idzam and Christopher are in a three-man team from Brunei and Malaysia, along with Ariff Tarmizi from Malaysia, under the Jetstar Racing Team.
The event is one of three series where the second series will be held from November 26 to November 27 in Selangor, Malaysia, and the third series will be on December 10 to December 11 also in Selangor, Malaysia, with a total of 24 riders from all over the ASEAN region joining the championship.
The P1 Aquax Malaysia includes three categories, which are the Sprint Spark, the Sprint Ski, and the Enduro 200 HP and 300 HP.
The first championship was launched in 2011 in the United Kingdom, and has since expanded its championships to the United States of America in 2013, and now to Malaysia.
