FORTY St John’s School students got a feel of what it is like to be a firefighter during an educational visit to the Kuala Belait Fire Station recently.
The group of KG3 students was led by Kindergarten Teacher Supervisor Yong Min Chu.
Pointing out that the visit was the first to be organised for the KG3 pupils, she said, “Our next trip will be to the Kuala Belait Police Station, while the KG2 students will be brought to KB Sentral. Our KG1 pupils were recently brought for a trip to The Coffee Bean Brunei at SupaSave in Panaga.”
At the fire station, the group viewed an exhibition on the equipment used during rescue operations, while the highlight of the day was the opportunity for the young ones to get on the fire engines.
Present to brief the visiting group was Station Officer Azalina binti Haji Adanan, the Public Relations Officer of Operation ‘B’ Kuala Belait Fire Station.
