ABOUT 40 participants from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Royal Brunei Police Force, Prisons Department, the Immigration and National Registration Department and the Ministry of Health yesterday received their certificates upon the completion of the ‘Bicara Syariah’ (Syariah talks).
Organised by Faculty of Syariah, the event took place at Ta’lim Hall of the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB).
The certificates were presented by the guest of honour, Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh, Dean of the Faculty of Syariah underlined that the objectives of ‘Bicara Syariah’ were to strengthen the understanding on how to perform the perfect ‘ibadat’, provide academic discussions on issues regarding ‘ibadat’ and act as a facilitator to solve problems raised over the matter of ‘ibadat’.
She also hoped that the event can provide the participants with beneficial knowledge.
The event concluded with a souvenir presentation to the guest of honour.
