YANG Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara who is also Patron of the Lela Cheteria Boat Race team, yesterday hosted a high tea reception for the Lela Cheteria Boat Race team after they won second place in the 12 paddlers mix category of the recent Sarawak International Dragon Boat Regatta 2016 in Kuching.
The function took place at Tarindak D’Seni Restaurant in the capital.
The Lela Cheteria team won in with their best time of 1.51.28 seconds.
According to the manager of the team, Pengarah Haji Brahim bin Haji Mohd Yussof, they are looking forward to take part in another international boat race to be held in Kedah and Sabah.
