MEMBERS of the public who wish to participate in the ‘10,000 Buku Tulis Percuma’ campaign are welcome to register at the current mini-roadshow in Hua Ho Manggis Mall.

The mini-roadshow is raising awareness for the charity project, which is a part of the Mega Carnival 2016 from December 8-13 at the Indoor Stadium, Berakas. Members of the public and private institutions can come forward and help underprivileged students by contributing exercise books to the campaign.

The project has received positive responses so far from members of the local community, with several registered clubs already stepping forward to lend their support for the campaign.

“We are aware that this is a big charity project, in which we are aiming for 10,000 exercise books,” said Rina. “To help ease the burden of unfortunate families, we call on all private institutions to come and support this programme.”

Members of the public can contribute to the project in the form of exercise books, until the deadline of December 4. Those who wish to get involved may do so by registering at Basement 1 of the Hua Ho Manggis Mall, while bringing along the exercise books to be donated.

Those who have registered will have their names announced during the launching ceremony at the Indoor Stadium on December 8, where they will also be presented with certificates of appreciation.
