TO ENLIVEN the nights leading up to the Maulud Nabi celebrations of 1438H/2016, the Ministry of Education began its series of Dikir ceremony at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Bandar Seri Begawan last night.
The congregation was led by Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education.
Also present was Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Education.
The congregation performed the mass Maghrib prayer which was led by Zulkifli bin Haji Murad from the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.

The minister then led the recitation of Surah al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of Dikir Syarafil Anam.
The ceremony continued with mass Isyak prayers and concluded with the Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
The congregation will continue the Dikir ceremony at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampong Kiulap on 4th of Rabiulawal 1438 Hcorresponding to December 4, 2016.
