WITH more than 30 years of solid business relationship with Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM), Kien Sing (Tan) Co’s (KST) Madewa outlet became a Shell Helix branded workshop following a launching ceremony yesterday.
KST was first established in the 1960s in Bandar Seri Begawan and specialises in selling bicycles. The company later relocated to Gadong where it would become the main outlet. The second outlet was subsequently opened at Seri Complex in Jalan Tutong, specialising in car repairs and the spare parts business.
Launching KST’s Madewa outlet yesterday were the event’s guest of honour, the Managing Director of BSM, Pengiran Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, with Hong Kim Seng, the owner of KST, as well as his wife, Lim Soo Lian, and Hong Chian Kai, the General Manager of KST.
KST’s long business relationship with BSM started in the 1980s and, over the years, its top-notch quality products and services have enabled KST to build confidence in serving customers with the best. This is one of the reasons why KST has chosen to partner with BSM to be a Shell Helix branded workshop.
“To date, we have four outlets in the Brunei-Muara District to cater to the ever increasing needs for auto parts needs of our customers and the local market,” said Hong Chian Kai. “Shell Helix lubricants have always been a popular choice of motor oil among our customers because of its uncompromised quality.”
Through this partnership, he also hoped that it would bring even greater future prospects between KST and BSM, as well as further building on the customers’ base with quality products from the latter.
In conjunction with the launch, KST is also pleased to announce a three-day free oil change promotion. With any purchase of Shell Helix lubricants and oil filters at the Madewa outlet, customers are entitled to an oil change free of charge.
