THE largest escape event in Brunei, a collaborated event organised by Jerudong Park Country Club (JPCC) and Escape Square Gadong at Jerudong Park Playground, continues this weekend. The first half of the event was held this past weekend and saw over 60 teams comprising of 400 participants altogether.
Another 50 teams are expected to participate this coming weekend and the organisers are happy to announce that they have added an extra date due to popular demand.
Escape JP Diamond Heist Mystery is based on Escape Square Gadong’s signature mystery crime escape games where a team of four-eight players are given a case and has to solve puzzles in order to help solve the case.
The game storyline, as per JPCC and Escape Square on their social media pages, involves the precious and expensive diamond at Jerudong Park being stolen and temporarily replaced with a replica to avoid public commotion while the case is being solved.
The mission is to uncover the identity of the villains and locate the real diamond over the course of three hours in the theme park.
This event which is supported by The Empire Hotel and Country Club, Starlodge Hotel, Parkview Hotel and Kotak Senyum Photobooth will see teams win prizes such as ‘Exclusive use of Waterpark at JP’, Entrance tickets to JP and Escape Square Gadong, Dining vouchers at Empire Hotel as well as vouchers for stays at Parkview Hotel and Starlodge Hotel.
All five days of the event was fully booked out weeks in advance at Escape Square Gadong and by popular demand, the game slot on December 25 has been opened up for booking this week. Youths, families, friends, corporate teams, thrill seekers and tourists are all welcome to join the Diamond Heist Mystery at BND10 per player. The minimum to participate is four players and maximum is eight players per team. Registration is currently open at Escape Square Gadong, 1st Floor, Unit 7, Block B, Abdul Razak Complex, Jalan Gadong.
