THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) was alerted about an object believed to be an old bomb near H7, Jalan Tengah, Panaga in Belait District at 8.35am yesterday.
By 8.45am, the police had closed off the road near the scene. The aeriel bomb was safely detonated by members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces at 4.40pm.
The RBPF advised members of the public not to touch any suspicious objects, instead they should contact hotline 993 or visit the nearest police station.
