A DONATION ceremony was held yesterday at the residence of Pehin Kapitan China Kornia Diraja Lau Ah Kok in Kampong Manggis, for 24 families affected by the recent fire in Kampong Lorong Dalam and Kampong Pandai Besi ‘A’.
Each of the families received contributions from Pehin Kapitan China Kornia Diraja Lau Ah Kok, to assist them in buying basic necessities.
Also in attendance at yesterday’s ceremony was Haji Ameer Hamzah bin Pehin Orang Kaya Amar Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Zakaria, the Senior Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
