THE Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) yesterday held a certificate presentation ceremony for 27 participants to mark the end of its recent four-day ‘Train of Trainers’ (TOT) programme.
The ceremony took place at the Silaturrahim Hall of the Youth Centre in the capital.
Present as the guest of honour was the Secretary General of the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society, Sheikh Haji Abdul Kadir bin Abdullah.
The programme was held as part of the Red Crescent Society Academy’s effort in generating qualified trainers from the volunteering members from each districts and schools.
Through such programme, it will help to enhance the learning system for members from all districts and schools and is considered as a platform to produce qualified and experienced trainers who will later share their skills and knowledge with the rest of the members of the association.
It is hoped that from the programme, the association will generate potential youths who will not only be able to contribute assistance but also to become productive and visionary youths with integrity.
The programme aimed to provide exposure and train the participating members on effective delivery methods and also, to revise on subjects relating to the association.
