TO HELP ease the burden of recent fire victims, the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) recently handed over a contribution of $5,400 to the families whose homes were destroyed in the Jalan Pulaie fire on December 14 and Kampong Lorong Dalam fire on December 23.
Presenting the donations was the Deputy Secretary of MUIB, Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Akop, at the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Multaqa Hall.
The contribution, which came from the Zakat Asnaf Fakir Miskin fund, was made to ease the victims’ burden.
