SIXTEEN tennis players from Jerudong International School (JIS) recently competed in the annual Fobisia Tennis Invitational in Bangkok, Thailand. The delegation was led by led by the head of tennis at JIS, Vanda Zebrakova and tennis coach, Chris Kruger.

The competition was jointly hosted by Harrow International School Bangkok and Bangkok Patana School, members of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA).

A total of 17 international schools from around the region participated in the three-day event with over 270 players.

According to JIS, the event “was a particularly spectacular effort from JIS students as they had extremely long days on the courts and still managed to show their competitive spirits.

“All players competed in four to six matches and all returned with some impressive wins.”
