THE 10,000 ‘buku percuma’ campaign, which launched earlier this month, is still distributing exercise books that were collected during the campaign to various primary schools in the Sultanate.
The charity, organised by Star Bugs Event Management, aims to ease the burden of underprivileged students in the country.
A total of 10,000 exercise books have already been distributed to students.
NIAT, the founder of the campaign, is currently distributing the rest of the exercise books that were collected during the campaign.
“We would like to thank the donors especially TAIB bank and its staff members, they donated more than 11,000 exercise books,” NIAT said in a press statement.
The campaign was launched early December and has received over-whelming support from members of the public.
