THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted a Tahlil ceremony yesterday for the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman at the Royal Mausoleum.
The guest of honour was Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Muhd Shah Al-Islam, Commissioner of Police.
Others who attended the event included Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, as well police officers.
The religious recitations were led by APO SM 6924 Pengiran Haji Ludin bin Pengiran Haji Matahir.
The Tahlil ceremony is part of the scheduled activities in commemoration of the 96th Police Day 2017. The theme of the 96th Police Day was ‘Perpaduan dan Keharmonian Mengukuhkan Keamanan’, or ‘Unity and Harmony Enhances Security’.
