FOLLOWING the launching of the all new ASX MY17, local dealer of Mitsubishi, GHK Motors Sdn Bhd hosted a ‘ride experience’ for its media associates at Kampong Mata-Mata Beribi yesterday.
One of GHK technical and training instructors, Muhammad Yusmar briefed the media on the vehicle’s features and specifications.
Despite being one of the oldest models in the Australian and European markets with the current generation first released in 2010, the ASX has enjoyed its best sales recently due to a combination of attractive pricing and the ever-growing popularity of small SUVs.
The new ASX 2017 model arrives with better media unit functionality. One of the upgrades is its new Dynamic Shield (Three-Diamond mark creates a 3D suggestion of motion) that symbolises the functionality and safety of the vehicle.

It is also has front fog lamp, signal and LED brake lamp, dual airbag plus knee for the driver, Side Airdam, Auto Rain Sensor and Auto Headlamp.
The vehicle also features a shark fin antenna, a more supportive rear seat padding as well as a new seat material with new cloth seat trim with red stitching.
The combination of Macpherson struts front suspension and multi-link rear suspension helps ensure smooth handling over rough roads.
