AUTORITI Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) yesterday held a thanksgiving ceremony in conjunction with the sixth anniversary of its establishment at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque.
Present at the ceremony were Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs as Deputy Chairman of AMBD’s Board of Directors; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Roselan bin Haji Mohamad Daud, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dato Paduka Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister of Finance; other members of the AMBD Board of Directors as well as AMBD staff and officers.
The ceremony began with the recital of the Surah Yaasiin, mass Maghrib prayers, followed by mass Sunnat Hajat prayers and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the sixth anniversary of the establishment of AMBD led by Imam Anuar bin Haji Salim.
