COMMANDER of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah yesterday officiated the 7th Command and Staff Course (CSC) at the Defence Academy of the RBAF.
Participants are from the RBAF, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), Internal Security Department (ISD) as well as candidates from Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the United States.
Also present at the ceremony were Acting Deputy Commissioner of the RBPF, Acting Deputy Director Operations of the ISD, as well as services commanders, directors, commandants, officers and staff of the RBAF Defence Academy.
The 40-week course, delivered in partnership with New Zealand’s Massey University, aims to broaden the professional and academic knowledge, develop command, analytical and communication skills of mid-level officers to prepare them for higher command and staff appointments.
