The Work Placement programme, meanwhile, enables youths to acquire the necessary skills and experience they need through attachment in the government or private sector.

Students are also required to attend religious classes on the five obligatory prayers and Al-Quran-reading, as well as participating in religious talks and activities during the holy fasting month of Ramadhan.

The PPB Acting Assistant Director, Fakhriah binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Lamit, was on hand yesterday to witness the student registration process, while Welfare Officer Haji Anuar bin Haji Ahmad gave them a briefing on the rules and regulations at the centre.
