YB Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, the Speaker of the Legislative Council (LegCo), received a courtesy call from Major General (Rtd) Tariq Rashid Khan, the Pakistan High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam yesterday.
Also in attendance were Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Jaya Dato Paduka Haji Judin bin Haji Asar; Secretary to the Cabinet Ministers’ Council and Clerk to the Legislative Council; Rose Aminah binti Haji Ismail, Deputy Clerk to the Legislative Council, and other senior officials at the Department of Councils of State.
Among the topics discussed during the visit were the strengthening of friendly ties and the close relations between Brunei Darussalam and Pakistan, along with matters of mutual interest.
